Ingredients
- 3 Granny Smith Apples
- 3 tbsp Lane’s Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel
- 30 g Butter
- 1/3 Cup Water
- 2 tbsp Plain Flour
- Wonton Wrappers
- Vegetable Oil for Frying
Directions
- Combine diced apples, butter, chocolate sea salt caramel seasoning, water, and flour in a pot. Simmer until the apples are soft and the sauce slightly thickens. Let cool.
- Spoon cooled apple filling into the centre of wonton wrappers. Moisten edges with water. Fold corners together and press to seal, forming a star shape.
- Heat vegetable oil to 350°F in a frying pan. Fry wontons until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
