This little experiment definitely paid off. Our Apple Pie Dessert rub is also a great flavour profile for Pork. Sweet, spices and apple notes made these sticky and sweet ribs an absolute winner.

Ingredients
-
1 Rack 'Baby Back' pork ribs
-
Lane's Apple Pie Dessert Rub
-
Lane's Kinda Sweet
-
Apple Juice
Directions
Preheat smoker to 275f
Remove membrane from the back of the rib by scraping up the edge with a knife and pulling off with a paper towel
Place rack on the smoker, smoke for 2 hours
On low heat reduce 1/2 Cup of apple juice, 2 Tbsp Lane's Kinda Sweet, 1 Tbsp Lane's Apple Pie Rub. until it begins to thicken.
After 2 hours wrap the ribs in foil with some more apple juice and some butter. wrap tight (being careful to not pierce the foil) and cook for another hour.
After an hour, unwrap the ribs and coat with the apple juice reduction. Let the sauce set for 10-20mins then remove from the smoker.
Slice between the bones to create individual ribs and serve with you're favourite sides (an apple coleslaw pairs perfect).
