- 2 tbsp Melted Butter
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 Sliced Jalapeño
- Chopped Chives (optional)
Directions
- Begin by preheating your barbecue to 150°C for an indirect cooking method.
- Start by removing the skin from the salmon and cutting the meat into cubes. Season each cube generously with Lane's Steak Supreme seasoning, then wrap each cube with a slice of streaky bacon. Arrange the seasoned salmon cubes on a tray for easier handling on the barbecue.
- Place the salmon bites on the barbecue, away from the direct heat source, and cook indirectly for 1 hour at 150°C. While cooking, brush the salmon with the glaze below every 20 minutes.
- Prepare the glaze by combining melted butter, honey, and sliced jalapeño in a bowl. Drizzle this glaze over the salmon cubes every 20 minutes. For added spice, consider placing a slice of jalapeño on top of each bite.
- After the hour is up, remove the salmon from the barbecue and sprinkle with Lane's Everything Toasted Bagel seasoning. Optionally, garnish with chopped chives.
- Serve with Sorta White Sauce for dipping and try to resist the urge to devour them all at once!
