- Lane’s Blueberry Muffin SeasoningÂ

1 ½ Cup Mixed Berries
- 2 tbsp SugarÂ
- 1 tsp CornflourÂ
- ½ Block Cream Cheese
- 2 tbsp SugarÂ
- 1tsp Vanilla ExtractÂ

Directions
- To begin, start by macerating the berries. In a bowl, combine the berries, sugar, and cornflour, then mix them together.
- Next, prepare the cream cheese filling. Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a bowl. Mix until the mixture becomes smooth.
- Now, it's time to cut the pastries. Using a knife cut the pastry sheet into 6 rectangles, then score the 6 rectangles about 1cm in from the edges to create a border.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese filling onto each pastry within the scored border. Then, add a generous amount of the berries on top of the cream cheese filling.
- Whisk an egg to create an egg wash and brush it around the edges of the pastry to give it a golden finish.
- Sprinkle Lane's Blueberry Muffin seasoning over the pastries.
- Preheat the oven and bake the pastries for approximately 20 minutes, or until the pastry turns a beautiful golden brown.
- Once baked, remove the pastries from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Dust with icing sugar and enjoy!
