Directions
- Preheat your barbecue or smoker to 130°C.
- Finely chop a small onion and combine it with the minced meat in a bowl.
- Grate one garlic clove into the bowl and add approximately 2 tablespoons of Lanes Brancho seasoning to the mix.
- Thoroughly combine the ingredients and shape them into golf ball-sized portions; a 500g batch should yield around 9 balls of this size.
- Place the meatballs on your barbecue or smoker and cook for 1 hour at 130°C. Optionally, you can enhance the flavour by adding smoking wood.
- While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing together 1/3 cup mayonnaise, 1/3 cup Greek yogurt, a squeeze of half a lemon, and a pinch of salt.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, let them rest for 5 minutes, then drizzle the sauce over them.
- Garnish each ball with 2 pomegranate seeds and a parsley leaf to create festive Christmas balls.
- Enjoy!
