Prepare the Ham
Remove the ham from its packaging and pat it dry with paper towels.
Score the fat cap in a crisscross pattern without cutting into the meat.
Grab your Magic Dust and generously rub it all over the ham, ensuring even coverage.
Preheat your smoker to 225F (107C)
Smoke the Ham:
Place the ham directly on the smoker grates, fat side up.
Smoke for about 5-6 hours, spritzing with apple juice every hour to keep the ham moist.
When the internal temperature of the ham reaches about 165°F (74°C), remove it from the smoker and place it in a double layer of aluminum foil.
Return the wrapped ham to the smoker and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C) for ultimate tenderness.
Rest, Pull & Serve
Remove the ham from the smoker and let it rest in the foil for 30 minutes.
Using two forks or your hands (with heat-resistant gloves), shred the ham into bite-sized pieces.
Serve the pulled ham on slider buns with coleslaw, over mashed potatoes, or enjoy it on its own with your favorite BBQ sauce.
