Directions
Combine buttermilk and a generous amount of Nashville Hot seasoning in a bowl.
- Soak chicken thighs in the seasoned buttermilk mixture, ensuring they're fully coated. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 2 hours.
- Mix plain flour with approximately 1/3 cup of Nashville hot seasoning in a separate small bowl.
- Coat the buttermilk-soaked chicken thighs with the flour mixture until evenly covered, then set aside.
- Preheat cooking oil to 160°C (320°F) for frying the chicken.
Once the chicken is cooked through, combine a tablespoon of Nashville Hot seasoning with two tablespoons of the hot cooking oil in a separate bowl.
- Toss the fried chicken in the hot oil mixture.
- Build your burger by placing the fried chicken on a toasted bun, optionally adding pickles, and drizzling additional hot oil over the top.
Cook fries to your desired crispiness using an air fryer or oven. After cooking, transfer them to a bowl and add ½ cup of parmesan cheese, 30g of melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of Ranch seasoning, tossing to coat evenly.
- Serve your burger alongside the seasoned fries and enjoy!
